These advancements underscore our firm’s capabilities and deepened expertise across both commercial and civil disputes.

We are also pleased to share that Lim Fung Peen, Director and Head of our Private Wealth & Family Practice, maintains his ranking as a Litigation Star in Family and Matrimonial matters. This recognition is a testament to his long-standing expertise, empathy, and advocacy in handling a broad spectrum of complex family disputes.

Speaking on the team’s work in high-conflict family matters, Fung Peen remarked:

At the heart of our Private Wealth & Family Practice is an approach rooted in therapeutic justice, focusing on both the legal and emotional aspects of family matters. We recognise that family disputes often involve deeply personal and sensitive issues, so we prioritise mediation, private negotiation, and amicable settlements wherever possible. By fostering understanding and communication between parties, we aim to find solutions that serve the best interests of our clients and their families.

However, we are also prepared to take decisive action when necessary, advocating firmly in court to safeguard our clients’ rights and interests. In such cases, we focus on securing the most favourable outcome, drawing on our deep legal expertise to ensure our clients are fully supported throughout the process.

About Our Disputes Resolution Practice

Led by Directors Amos Cai and Denise Teo, and supported by Associate Director Lim Yun Heng, Yuen Law’s Disputes Resolution Team handles a wide range of civil and commercial litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters.

In line with our fast-growing practice, we recently welcomed two new consultants to the team: P. Padman, a highly regarded figure in international commercial arbitration, and Benedict Eoon, who brings specialised expertise in commercial disputes and white-collar crime. Their appointments have further strengthened our capability to advise on contentious matters across various industries, which is critical given the significant increase in cross-border disputes, breaches of fiduciary duties, director misconduct, shareholder disputes, and construction arbitration over the past year.

On the team’s recognition and growing portfolio, Amos said:

“At Yuen Law, we understand that each dispute is unique, and we approach each matter with a tailored strategy designed to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients. This recognition underscores the trust our clients place in us, and we are proud to continue strengthening our capabilities in dispute resolution.”
